Michael Vick, DeSean Jackson, T.I., and Meek Mill Rap Battle

I wish I could make this up. On December 19th, several Philadelphia celebrities including DeSean Jackson, Michael Vick, and Meek Mill gathered for T.I.’s album release party. Apparently, DeSean Jackson starting promoting his record label and amateur rapper, which prompted Meek Mill to challenge him to a rap battle with his amateur rapper. With $10k on the line, the two… umm… MC’s battled, judged by T.I., Michael Vick, and two other guys. Even Michael Vick ended up voting for the other MC, opposing DeSean Jackson. Guess those guys are going to be on different teams next year anyways. Go…

Hell, Let’s Make Some Picks!

I’ll admit, I’ve been off my game lately. I hadn’t made any NFL predictions since Week 9. Things have been hectic, so forgive me for not guiding your betting patterns for a few weeks. But, just as people feel towards McDonald’s hamburgers, you’ll love me, then hate me, then forgive me right back into your life at an inopportune time. Let’s get to the FAT! Cincinnati -4.5 @ Philadelphia – The Eagles are the only team I know that can mess up losing. The idea, at this point, is to lose out for a better draft pick. The coaching…

Andrew Bynum Expects To Play This Season

This just in…. Andrew Bynum has stated that he intends to play this season. Right after, he mentioned that his left knee is still incredibly sore and he’s not sure on the timetable for his return. I guess that’s some sort of good news? This is the knee he injured during his bowling fiasco. So technically, if the man lived in a bubble during his rehabilitation, he would be healthy enough to play right now. That makes me rethink my position on the Sixers trade and this whole situation. Bynum sticks to his story that he will play this…

Alright, Now I’m Really Worried About Andrew Bynum

Guess what, Philadelphia? Andrew Bynum is probably not going to play for the rest of the year. The ongoing delays and injuries for our prize Center is going to set back his first start until October of 2013. Maybe, ever. Call me pessimistic, but I’ve seen this one before. A lot of the media is discussing the Bynum bowling injury (sorry for having Stephen A. Smith open this video clip with his annoying voice and definition of rhetorical), but this is just a prelude to the real story when the Sixers are forced to announced that he will be…

What Football Week Is It ?

Week 9? Week 10? Does it even matter anymore? The rebuttal to myself is: Yes. Yes it does. Get with the program, Randy. The re-rebuttal to that is: Looks like I went 9 for 12 with the spreads last week. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that I am with it. Ok. This is getting weird. Truth is, I did go 9 for 12 last week, my finest week yet. Let’s keep the good times rolling with this week’s picks! Denver -4 @ Cincinnati – Andy Dalton’s performance has been lackluster in the month of October. Peyton…

Iguodala, You’re On An 8 Seed Now!

That’s just one of the many things I heard being yelled at Andre Iguodala last Wednesday during the 76ers home opener versus the Nuggets. Yes, Iggy was in town, fresh from his departure after 8 years of being a Sixer, and fans let him have it. When Matt Cord gave Iguodala his introduction, the crowd response was pretty mixed. Half boos, half clapping. If Iguodala never made the statements about hating the criticism in Philadelphia during his tenure, I wonder what the overall feeling would be. I mean, there’s no reason to really boo him is there? He did…

I Make Picks, Ya’ll Win Money

Not really. It’s just getting hard to come up with titles other than Week 8 Picks, ya feel me? Hell, you might win some money, though. Last week I went 6 for 13. Yikes. Let’s get on a path to redemption shall we? THE PICKS!!! New England -7 @ St. Louis – New England is hardly looking like the team of yesteryear, but I still believe they are going to win this game. St. Louis tends to score late, and New England tends to give up a lot of points late. Regardless, I’m taking New England -7. Indianapolis +3.5…
