Ladies and Gentlemen, I Present –

The Jets The Jets have to be the most stubborn and stupid football organization on the planet right now. You have arguably one of the most popular football players on your team, you are OUT of the playoffs, and yet you announce that you are going to start your third string quarterback instead. Well congratulations Jets, you just made me feel sorry for Tim Tebow – and I honestly did not think that was even possible. (Maybe I am just feeling sentimental since according to my father’s meticulous research and Ancestry.com we may be related. Keep your head up…

Iguodala to Denver, Sixers Get Andrew Bynum & Jason Richardson

Dwight Howard gets sent to the Lakers Woah. This is an absolutely insane NBA trade. Late Thursday night, the Denver Nuggets, the LA Lakers, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Orlando Magic agreed to a four-team trade that involved multiple players. The most notable was Dwight Howard being traded from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers. The second most notable trade was definitely the 76ers acquiring Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson for Andre Iguodala. The 76ers have been drafting nothing but small forwards, so to imagine that we’ve somehow landed the second best center in the NBA is…

The NBA Playoffs are Nuts

The Atlanta Hawks could play the Memphis Grizzlies for the NBA Championship.  Wow. So what happened?  Why did everyone seem to age 40 years in 20 days?  Kobe looked terrible and his team is now gone but they’ll be back next year when they get Dwight Howard so never fear Lakers fans!  Up until Game 3, the Celtics looked old until Wade tackled Rondo and it seemed to wake them all up at least momentarily. Lebron is sporting the hairline of a 50 year old man.  But that isn’t even the scariest thing about these playoffs. You know who…

2011 All-Star Weekend! Bring on the Stars!!

Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat’s right. The NBA season is almost halfway over, and that means that every professional NBA player gets to take a break from their extremely difficult job of playing basketball for about 10-20 minutes on average three times a week. Strenuous right? We should give them awards! There’s talk of the Dunk Contest being pulled in upcoming All-Star Breaks simply because no one wants to compete anymore. To be honest I really can’t understand why. You look like a bad ass, there’s very little physical risk (right?) I don’t see the downside, but every year it seems that the…

Merry Christmas!

Hope everyone is having a good holiday.  Thanks for all the love and support we’ve gotten over our first year. ESPN is showing basketball all day, so here’s a little gem from a few days ago where Dwight Howard tries saving a ball from out of bounds, and instead drills it off of a Spurs player.  May or may not be intentional. It’s also Adam’s birthday today, so special shout out to him. Happy Holidays guys!
